Brethren, Family, and Friends,
Greetings to all! Spring is right around the corner and before you know it, Summer will be here. With the Summer also comes the dreaded Delinquent Dues Committee responsibility. As of this writing, there are still 90 brothers that have yet to pay their dues. Please get these sent in ASAP. If there are special circumstances, contact us for more information about what to do.
There are many goings on here lately –LOTS of work on Mondays, Cub Scouts on Tuesdays, Mentoring and Practicing on Thursdays, Hall Rentals most weekends – Golden Ark is very Active, be sure to join in and/or take part. Since I have been off of work, I am able to spend more time here at the Lodge, and, I am looking to start a “retiree” day which would allow some of our members another opportunity for fellowship, friendship, and maybe even a meal or two. Please let me know if you are interested. If there is enough interest, we can schedule a day, or two, a month, and maybe even start a “club”
Once again, I would like to request that if you have any Masonic reading material that you may be willing to donate, please forward it on, as we are still building our lending library. This library is intended to help us educate our new brothers, as well as expand the Masonic knowledge of all of us. Thank you to those that have already donated books and DVD’s. I will soon have a list of what is available, and I will pass it on to everyone.
As some of you are aware, I have been off of work since Last April, due to the progression of Parkinson's. Due to this, I have been spending a bit more time up here at the Lodge. I am doing my best to keep up with all of the correspondences and requests, but once in a while I do miss or forget something.
