We do not want anyone missing out on the information that is being distributed.

MASONIC PATHWAYS VISIT - REMINDER

Our JD, Br Timothy Dragone, has arranged for a visit to Pathways, on September 19, 2009. Pathways will provide bus transportation to and from the facility, as well as a lunch during our tour.  We will meet at the Lodge around 8:00 am. This is an opportunity to see some of the services offered to our Masonic family. We need to have at least 20 people committed to going, so please RSVP with Br. Tim. Remember that this visit is open to all of our members and their families

Greetings from the EAST

Brethren, Family, and Friends

Summer time is finally here. I would like to start off by saying what a great feeling it was to attend Grand Lodge Annual Communications this year and vote on your behalf, and what a great honor it was to accept a Lodge of the year award for Golden Ark for the year of 2008. WB. George Graham should be very proud, I know I am.

As some of you know, But some may not it was passed to raise Per Capita in the amount of $6.25 per year for the next four years. For a grand total of $25.00, this hasn't happened in 16 years.

With the way the economy is this may be tough for some people, but it was bound to happen sooner or later. Hopefully we will be able to work through it.

We will go over the rest of the amendments that passed of failed at July's business meeting.

I would like to entertain the idea of having a flea market/rummage sale at the lodge, selling table space with the proceeds going to our Hats and Coats fund. Please let me know if you have any input on this, or if anyone has any other ideas.

Also don't forget our Annual lodge picnic coming up on August 22nd at Taylor Jaycees Park, come out and have a good time.

I am going to have an officers meeting this month. I will announce the date and time at our business meeting on Monday July 6th.

Until Next Month

Fraternally,

Russell D Ouellette WM

You don't need anybody to tell you who you are or what you are. You are what you are!

Writings from the WEST

Brethren, Family and Friends

Summer is finally here. I hope that everyone is taking an opportunity to enjoy the weather and spend some time with family and friends.

As most of you are aware, I have a great interest in Masonic Education. It is my belief that every new Mason will become a BETTER Mason, and a better man, if they learn more about what Masonry is and What makes us the world’s greatest fraternity. Because of this interest, I have been asked to be a part of the Grand Lodge Service and Education Committee. This is a great honor, and I hope to contribute to, and learn from, this committee.

Once again for the month of July, we will be having instructional “classes” on Monday nights. We will open at 6:30 for all interested brothers.

Until Next month – stay on the Level, and live by the Square

Secretary Scribbles

Brothers, Family, and Friends,

This year is flying by so fast or maybe it’s because I have been so busy learning my new position as Lodge Secretary. If you Brothers only knew all the work a Secretary has to do you would not believe it. I know I sound like a broken record about getting your dues in, but that is the biggest job I have to do as Secretary. The notice for NON-PAYMENT OF DUES just went out, and come September I will have to Suspend 35 Brothers who still have not paid their dues. Brothers this is a bad thing on all accounts, I know times are tough all over I myself have lost my job as well as many other good people and good brothers, so I know what a lot of you are going through. Brothers if you are in financial hardship, you can call me or another Brother and let them know and “WE” as a lodge can try to do something for you but if you choose not to let anyone know what is going on, there is nothing I can do to help. Please do your part in helping me do my job as Secretary, I hate some of the things I have to do but it’s my job to do what needs to be done and as in every aspect of my Masonic journey, I am PROUD to be a Mason and will serve the Craft to the best of my ability. With that being said, I hope to hear from some of you Brothers, because being a part of this great fraternity is such an honor and privilege and I know you do not want to lose all the years you have invested in it.

Until next month,

WB William Clawson, PM
