MESSAGE FROM THE EAST Brethren, Family and Friends, Brethen. Welcome to our new brothers William Loeber and James Collier and I want to thank all the brothers involved with their ritual practices and preparation of the candidates. I hope everyone is as excited as I am about the upcoming Masonic year. We have much to look forward to - the initiating, passing and raising of brothers, Senior Warden's Dinner, St. Patrick's Day dinner and dance and something new this year; The Daytona 500 party on February 17th at the lodge starting at 2:00 p.m. Tickets run $10.00 per person which covers food and beverage and profits/proceeds go to the Coats for Kids campaign. This is going to a lot of fun and for a great cause. In the next 3 months, we have approximately 7 brothers to initiate, pass and raise so we will be very busy in lodge with our ritual work. Tentatively February will be all entered apprentices, March will be Fellowcraft and April will be Master Masons with the Master Mason's dinner at the end of April. I want to thank Worshipful brother Jerry Matthais for the excellent job he is doing with the candidates and for acting as leader of the degree team. With the holidays behind us and Spring just around the corner, we all need to put forth new efforts to ensure a great Masonic year. Fraternally Yours, George K Graham jr Worshipful Master ________________________________________________
Through our busy times, please remember our shut-in members, our Masonic widows, and those that are not as well off as others. It is easy to forget about those that are out of sight and out of mind, but those are the ones that we should visit and make feel loved and cared for.
TIDINGS FROM THE WEST Brothers, Family and Friends, Another successful month here at Golden Ark. Two new brothers raised! Congrats to both of them and WELCOME! We have lots more work for this month. I hope to see more bothers attend Lodge and get involved. Tentatively, my SR Warden dinner will be in MAY. Fraternally Brother Russell Ouellette jr Senior Warden GREETINGS FROM THESOUTH This month will be very busy with EA degrees, and also a Mason -of-the-Year dinner. Don’t forget to pickup your tickets early from the Stuarts or from Brother Paul Loudon as this will help us with our headcount for dinner. Brother Paul is also collecting donations .It should be a great Time you won't want to miss. You will notice this month that a lot of Brother officers are stepping up to help out in the absence of chairs, so be patient with them, but encourage them as well, Its not easy stepping up, so lets remember to thank them . Brother James – Jesse - Johnson Junior Warden ____________________________________________________________________ Letter From The Secretary Brothers, Family and Friends,
Greetings once again. Winter is almost over, and Spring is right around
the corner. Lots of things to do during the “Spring Clean-up”. We are
currently in the process of replacing the floor in the Hall. Thanks to
all that helped with this project, A BIG thank you to our brothers at
Trio Lumber for the extra help in time of need. And to all those that
are helping with all of the clean-up and repairs that need to be done.
Special Thanks to It is time for the 2nd dues notice to be sent out. Currently, there are 145 brothers still owing. Please get these in as soon as possible. Our Cub Scout Pack held it annual Pinewood Derby on Jan 29. This event was great fun for all of the scouts and their families. Thank you to all of the Brothers that pitched in as cooks, judges, and all around helpers. In appreciation for our efforts, the Weblos II pack made and donated 3 bird houses that will be placed in our front yard. These boys, and their parents, truly appreciate us for all of the help and support that we provide. If you get a chance, please come down on Tuesday evenings (6:30 - 8:00 PM) and show some support for these scouts. Until Next Month John R Miller
