Cub Scout Pack 818 is a unit within Huron District of the Detroit Area Council Boy Scouts of America and consists of boys from approximately 9 different elementary schools throughout the area, grades 1st - 5th.
Our Pack is Chartered through the Taylor Masonic Center ~ Golden Ark Lodge, Taylor Michigan.
Our Den Meetings are Tuesdays @ 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p. m. and our monthly Pack Meetings are the last Tuesday of the month @ 6:30 p.m. All meetings are held at the Taylor Masonic Center, 23263 Goddard Rd.

Friday – Saturday, June 27th & June 28th ~ Day camp @ Group Camping area.Friday: 5:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Saturday: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (lunch provided) Registration cost: $30.00 Tuesday, July 8th ~ MUD DAY!!! Cost: FREE 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Nankin Mills Area/ Hines Drive Park, Westland. Kids wear bathing suit or t-shirt and shorts and towel, and plan to get muddy J The kids will have a blast! 33175 Ann Arbor Trail, Westland. (On the corner of Hines drive and Ann Arbor Trail) Friday – Sunday, August 15th – 17th ~ Camping ~ Lower Huron Metro Park/ Group Camping Area. Camping/Plus Turtle Cove. Plan for fun, hiking, water park. Cost: $15 per family, does not include admission to Turtle Cove. Sunday, September 7th ~ Canoe Trip. Cost: FREE. Crosswinds Marsh 10 a.m. Take 94 west to 275 South to Will Carleton Rd. exit, turn right follow it to Haggerty rd. then turn right, Crosswinds Marsh will be on your left. We will meet in parking lot.

Camping Supply List

1. Tent (must accommodate all those camping with you) 2. Sleeping Bag and pillow 3. Air mattress (optional) 4. Toiletries (Toothbrush, toothpaste, washcloth, towel, deodorant, bar soap, 1 roll toilet paper) 5. Blue Pack t-shirt and Full Uniform (shirt/pants) 6. Change of clothes according to the weather (It does get cool in the evenings.) 7. Extra clothes for back-up 8. Pajamas or sweats for sleeping in 9. Coat or jacket 10. Bring any medicines you think your children may need. For instance allergies. 11. Any cooking supplies you think would be useful. 12. Box Oven’s , bag of charcoal, for Breakfast Sunday Morning. 13. Lunch, drinks, snacks for Saturday. Each family is responsible for their own Lunch during the Rendezvous on Saturday. 14. Fishing Pole (Adults please have a license) 15. Flashlight 16. Bug Spray Plan for a weekend of fun!
