MESSAGE FROM THE EAST
Brethren, Family and Friends, Let me start by saying what an honor it is to be elected to Worshipful Master for the year 2007. I want to thank everyone for their support. I would also like to thank everyone who helped with the set up and clean up of the lodge and hall. Everything looked outstanding for our installation. The installation went very well and we had an excellent turnout. The food was excellent, the refreshments were excellent and the music provided by Brother Roland Ayers was excellent. I think a good time was had by all. Thank you to everyone who attended our installation, it was a huge success. I would like to give a heart felt thank you to the Grand Installing Staff: Acting Grand Master Ira S. Slaven RWDGM……Acting Deputy Grand Master C. William Meyer PM BGP…..Acting Senior Grand Warden Richard Thompson PM Acting Junior Grand Warden Thomas Stafford PM….Acting Grand Treasurer Walter R. Mahan PM….Acting Grand Secretary Lee Francis PM….Acting Grand Chaplain Mark Vardakis PM DDI …..Acting Grand Senior Deacon Kevin P. Dobbins PM….. Acting Grand Junior Deacon Joseph Molnar PM…Acting Grand Marshal Peter L. Elam PM for a job well done. Thank you again for being part of this special occasion. It meant a lot to me. I would like to thank W.B. James Miller PM BGP who unfortunately could not be in attendance because of by pass surgery, but was still very helpful with making arrangements to help in our installation. God Bless you W.B. Jim, we will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. We wish you a speedy recovery. Thank you to all the officers who fell into place and those who volunteered their services as up and coming officers of this lodge. With your help and support I know this will be a great year. Last and certainly not least I want to thank my wife Michelle and daughter Brittney for all the work they did in helping with the preparation, planning, cleaning, and setting up, making the center pieces, decorating and overall support. I would also like to thank my son Jeremy for his help at the party. Thank you and I Love you all very much!!! Now that all the thank yous are done, it’s time to get down to business. First order of business is to thank our out going Junior Past Master W.B. Richard Ouellette, for a job well done last year. I plan to continue in all the effort you put forth in making this lodge a great place for friends and brothers to meet and interact with one another spreading friendship, morality and brotherly love. Second, I am asking all you brother’s who have not been to lodge in a while, to please come and be a part of the place you once held in highest esteem. We have a lot of new faces that are ready and willing to learn and to put forth the effort to make this lodge what it used to be. Third, to all the officers, past officers, past masters and members of Golden Ark #595, let’s make this year as enjoyable to everyone as we possibly can. Finally (for this letter) I am going to plan some fund raisers for the lodge this year. The first thing I am looking into is lighting for our parking lot. If anyone has any thoughts or contacts to help us out please feel free to contact me anytime. I will always be open for suggestions. More details will be forthcoming. Thanking all of you in advance for an outstanding year.
William J. Clawson Worshipful Master

Letter From The Secretary
Brothers, Family and Friends, Another year over, and a new one just beginning! Annual election of officers was held on 06/NOV/2006. As was pointed out, I mistakenly listed the date in my last letter, sorry for any confusion. Please see the list of newly elected officers on the back page of this Trestle Board. Congratulations to all! I would like to thank all of the brothers for their votes of confidence shown when I was elected to this office for 2007. I will try to uphold the integrity of this office and this Lodge, to the best of my ability. Due to certain constraints with my job, I will be in the office on Monday and Thursday evenings, usually after 5:00 pm until about 10:00 pm. I will also try to be here, whenever possible, on Tuesday evenings for a few hours. Please feel free to contact me via my cell number, if you have an issue to be addressed. If things change, I will let everyone know. I hope that everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Joyous New Year! Please be safe in your travels.
Until Next Month John R Miller
